redcatOS Rubystorm 3 begins development in December to get redcatOS out by Fall 2026.

redcatOS Flavors & Core introduced
redcatOS introduces a new core based on Debian Trixie known as redcatOS Core, which will be the core of every redcatOS flavor.

- redcatOS – The base version of redcatOS.
- redcatOS Feather – Lightweight version of redcatOS using LXQt instead of KDE.
- redcatOS You – Modular version of redcatOS that is 100% customizable down to the kernel.
- redcatOS Creator – Studio version of redcatOS made for content creators, developers, & more.
- redcatOS Net – Server version of redcatOS made for servers
When will Rubystorm 3 come out?
redcatOS Rubystorm 3 is slated for a 25H1 release with Rubystorm 4 being slated for a 25H2 release.
